Vacation Rental Development Manager

Employed to meet and guide new homeowners on our program, our Development Manager is a wealth of knowledge and an expert at guiding you through the onboarding process, setting up your home to maximize revenue. She will monitor rental rates and specials, revise contracts for optimum legal protection, and arrange for professional photography, floor plans and preliminary inventory.
Operations Team

You will have one Operations Team member assigned to your home so that you have a personal point of contact at Tahoe Luxury Properties. Your Operations staff person is extensively familiar with your home, fielding any issues that arise and managing all service providers. Our seasoned Operations Manager is always available for additional support.
Concierge Services

From grocery delivery to spa services to childcare to sports equipment and activities, and everything in between, our Concierge responds to special requests, crafts unique experiences, and takes care of the details so that guests can relax, creating lasting Tahoe memories. Our Concierge is also available as a courtesy to all of our homeowners to assist in any planning or scheduling while you are in town.
Marketing

A full-time Marketing Director manages our advertising strategy, including print advertising, email marketing, paid search, partner sites, press relations & editorial coverage, events, sponsorships, and website content. A full-time social media manager develops content and promotes our vacation rentals across all of our social media channels. With an extensive database of past renters, our email subscriber base includes over 25,000 active recipients.
Accounting

Our in-house Financial Controller and team will process your monthly revenue statements, year-end 1099, vendor invoices, and more. We directly pay and 1099 contractors on your behalf prior to receiving your funds, and simply deduct any necessary costs from your homeowner statement at month end. Unlike many agencies, we do not require funds preemptively to cover expenses.

Our office headquarters are located in Tahoe City. Central to the North Shore, West Shore and Truckee, our location allows us to easily access your home when necessary, respond to guests’ requests efficiently and in a timely manner, and maintain a local inviting space for inquiries and walk-ins. Onboarding Your Home

Transitioning your property from a personal home to a vacation rental can be a daunting process. We understand you are busy. Therefore, we assist you in getting your home ready for the rental market in numerous ways, including conducting an inventory at your home to ensure you have all items on the Owner Supply List; ordering and stocking needed items for you, if desired; scheduling service providers such as handymen, landscapers, cleaners, furniture delivery; arranging for professional photos and a 3D virtual tour and much more. Our goal is to make the process of onboarding your home as smooth and efficient for you as possible.

Scheduling Services

We coordinate cleaners, hot tub maintenance, and snow removal with your rental calendar. We work only with trustworthy and professional cleaners that are bonded and insured. Cleaners receive in-depth training and are monitored regularly. As locals, and in business since 1994, we boast an extensive network of reliable, trustworthy service providers.

Check-Ins & Check-Outs

Detailed check-ins, which last 30-60 minutes, are conducted prior to your guests’ arrival. The process includes opening all blinds, checking each light, testing hot water and heat, and confirming all electronics and appliances are in working order. Outside, we walk the grounds and remove debris. Guests arrive to a welcome letter, pertinent home information, and an evaluation form. Local publications offer information about the area and events. Based on the booking, guest will receive some combination that may include a bottle of wine, champagne, flowers, and chocolates. At check-out, we do a thorough inspection to assess any accidental damage and appropriately close down your home.

Customer Service

If an issue arises while guests are in residence, we respond immediately. Our team is astute at troubleshooting many electronic and appliance inquiries over the phone, keeping your costs down. If our team cannot resolve the issue, we call the appropriate service technician, coordinate the process, and confirm the issue has been resolved to both our and our guests’ satisfaction. Evaluation sheets are reviewed and all comments are relayed to you.

After-Hours Emergencies

Both homeowners and guests have access to the Tahoe Luxury Properties emergency line for after-hour incidents.

Biannual Property Inspections

Each spring and fall, a thorough property inspection is conducted to confirm all contents are nicely organized and in pristine working order. We identify and make you aware of all necessary maintenance including, but not limited to, chimney sweeping, carpet cleaning, window washing, landscaping, firewood replenishment, painting, staining, and any items that need repair or replacement. If necessary, we review inventory.

Homeowner Courtesies

Let us attend to your individual needs. Driving up in a winter storm? Call our office and we are happy to turn on the heat and lights for your arrival. Upon request, we provide courtesy check-ins for you or your family.
